History

Since its introduction to the market in 2014, the NEJM Knowledge+ product line has gained recognition for efficiency, effectiveness, ease of use, convenience, trust, and gold standard content. Starting with Internal Medicine Board Review, and later expanded to include Family Medicine Board Review and Pediatrics Board Review, NEJM Knowledge+ was developed for physicians, residents, and other health care professionals to help them prepare for their board certification or recertification, engage in life-long learning, improve clinical care and fulfill continuing education requirements.

These products help clinicians efficiently master the medical knowledge necessary to improve their performance on board examinations, and most importantly, help them practice medicine at a higher level.

Product

The original product concept was developed in response to physicians’ desires for structured continuous learning opportunities. Teams of up to 200 authors and editors ensure the content is credible, relevant, and current. NEJM Knowledge+ Board Review products feature comprehensive banks of multiple question formats derived from learning objectives mapped to specific curriculum. Questions are served adaptively in response to user performance, confidence, and other factors. A robust reporting system details the user’s progress and performance across multiple dimensions, while automatically tracking both Maintenance of Certification (MOC) points and continuing medical education (CME) credits earned. In addition, there is a simulated exam environment with detailed performance assessment and links to question review.
